Working in Accounting positions since 2004 for CPA Firms, Corporations, and NonProfits

Currently on-track to become licensed CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

I'm Jennifer Baker, founder of Baker Accounting Services, with over 10 years of hands-on experience in nonprofit and small business finance. As CFO of a $5M+ human services nonprofit, I oversee budgeting, compliance, and financial operations across 25+ funding sources - and I've maintained a 100% clean audit record through 8+ consecutive Single Audits.

I started Baker Accounting Services to bring that same level of precision and care to small businesses and nonprofits who need a trusted set of hands on their books. Whether it's monthly bookkeeping, grant and multi-fund tracking, or getting your financial reporting audit-ready, I bring real-world expertise from managing budgetsthat scaled from $2.5M to $5M+.

I'm a Quickbooks expert and Excel enthusiast, and I'm currently pursuing my CMA Certification to keep growing my techinical toolkit. When I'm not balancing books, you'll find me knitting or crocheting, watching the latest movie or documentary, or listening to music.
